I turned 26 last month & it feels like I’m really getting an adult. If I’m looking on Facebook I see little kids everywhere..
It’s like everyone is pregnant, get married and so on. Do you have to think about this ‘serious business’ when you’re older than 25?
Well, today I just want to share 5 things I learned till me 25th. Here we go:
I’M NOT HAVING THE LIFE AS I IMAGINED 10 YEARS AGO
When I was 16 I seriously thought I would have a big career right now, a nice house & a lot of money haha.
Nope.. My life doesn’t look like that at the moment.
WEEKEND MEANS: BUSY WITH OTHER STUFF, NOT JUST CELEBRATING
When I studied (and before) the weekends were full of party’s, shopping sessions, going to family or just doing nothing at all.
Right now it’s totally different.. Cleaning the house, doing this and that for work and definitely less relaxation.
NOTHING IS GOOD ENOUGH
Everything can be better & better. It’s like we adults are (almost) never satisfied. Working harder, doing better.. Isn’t it crazy?
YOU CAN’T SPEND YOUR MONEY ON NICE STUFF ONLY
Bills, bills, bills.. When I was young I liked to open the mailbox & find mail to me. Now I hate to open it & find all those blue envelopes what means: pay for this & pay for that please.
FRIENDS AREN’T FOREVER
On primary & high school you were talking about how to get old with your best friends.. Not thinking about different studies & jobs and so on.
What actually happens: You’re going to study something totally different than your friends, live in another town, meet new people, get a job in a town miles away from your friends & you just don’t speak each other anymore.
Okay, this sounds too bad, but remember: your real good friends always will be your best friends. No matter what.
Recognizing some of these? ;)
